Our English language school occupies a large, beautifully-refurbished, four-storey Victorian building with a magnificent garden and terrace. Its ideal location will allow you to take advantage of all the attractions of the city centre and the beach, which is about 15 minutes away.
The school has 17 spacious classrooms spread over two side-by-side buildings, all with high windows and natural light.
Living in England gives students the perfect chance to experience British culture and practice their English. There is an extensive social programme that is designed to let students get the most out of their stay.
Brighton is the perfect place to enjoy the best of British sun and seaside. From volleyball on the beach beside Brighton's famous pier to barbeques in the backgarden of the school's premises, our students and staff wouldn't be anywhere else. A small charge (£3 - £10) is made for some activities, others are free of charge.
Living in a homestay can be one of the most rewarding parts of the student's visit to England. You will have the chance to live in a home environment and experience the culture first hand.
All of the hosts have been visited and interviewed in their home and they must meet British Council standards. They have been selected because of the comfort of the home and the warm welcome they will be able to give you.
Most homestays are a bus ride away. Bus passes are sold in the school office, or you can buy them at the post office.
Our university-style summer residence is located in the centre of Brighton just half a mile north of the famous Brighton pier, Phoenix Halls residence provides good value-for-money single study bedroom self-catering accommodation.
