Edinburgh Central


Scotland’s unique blend of natural beauty and romantic tradition makes it a popular destination for thousands of tourists every year. Whether it is the taste of Scotch whisky, the sound of bagpipes or the warmth of the Scottish people that draws you here, there is no better place to learn English and experience Scottish culture than in its majestic capital city.

The college is in the very heart of Edinburgh, just minutes from the stylish shops of Princes Street and the imposing fortress of Edinburgh Castle. The college is housed in an elegant Georgian building and offers excellent facilities including free wireless Internet connection and a multimedia room with the latest language-learning technology.


There are 10 large classrooms with plenty of natural light. All rooms are complete with either tablet chairs or desk and chairs and a whiteboard. There are televisions, DVDs, cassette players and overhead projectors available for lessons.

Classroom Students
The college has a common room where students relax and socialise. It is bright and spacious and has vending machines, coffee and tea making facilities and a microwave. There are computers with internet access, TV/DVD and wireless Internet access for use of personal laptops. The college doesn't have a cafeteria but there are many shops nearby where students can buy their lunches. Students can eat in the common room or on the patio outside in nice weather.
There is a library in the college with both books and videos available for students.
Multimedia Room
The multimedia centre at the college has 15 computers complete with language learning programmes, email and Internet access.
Free wifi
There is a free wireless Internet connection available in the college for students with their own laptops.
